Visiting the website

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit, Vercel processes technically necessary data: your IP address, date and time, the address requested, the page you visited before, and your browser and operating system. The purpose is to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and the transfer to the USA relies on it. Vercel does not state a fixed retention period; according to Vercel, the data is stored only for as long as necessary for these purposes (Vercel privacy notice).

Cookies and storage on your device

This website sets no cookies and stores no information on your device. Fonts and maps are hosted on our own server; when you visit, no content is loaded from Google or other providers.

Statistics with Vercel Web Analytics

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, a service of Vercel Inc. (address above). The data processed is the page viewed, the page visited before, the time, the approximate location (country, region, city), operating system, browser and device type. Vercel sets no cookies for this. Vercel tells visits apart by a hash value formed from the request; according to Vercel, this assignment is discarded after 24 hours. We count an appointment request as an event, without your contact details.

The purpose is to see which pages are read and how many enquiries come in through the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in this audience measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Vercel Web Analytics privacy).

YouTube videos

Each video is initially just a preview image from our server. Only when you click on a video is it loaded in YouTube’s enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com). In doing so, YouTube receives, among other things, your IP address, details of your browser and device and the address of this page, and YouTube may store information on your device. The provider for users in the EU is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is your consent by clicking on the video (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); the text below the videos points out the data transfer. If you do not start a video, no data flows to YouTube. For more information, see Google’s privacy policy.

Appointment request for the free water test

If you request an appointment via the form, we process the details you enter: the type of building, what matters to you about water, first and last name, the company name for businesses, telephone number and, if provided, your email address. We use them to contact you, arrange the appointment and carry out the water test.

After the form, you choose an appointment on the “Choose a time” page in a GoHighLevel calendar. The provider is HighLevel LLC, 5473 Blair Rd Ste 100, PMB 383313, Dallas, Texas 75231, USA; the calendar runs through its service LeadConnector (leadconnectorhq.com). So that you do not have to type anything twice, we pass your first and last name, telephone number and, if provided, your email address to the calendar. When booking, you also enter the address for the appointment and your email address there; confirmation and reminder are sent by email. When the calendar loads, the service receives your IP address, and the calendar loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com).

HighLevel processes this data on our behalf, as our processor. HighLevel and LeadConnector are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and the transfer to the USA relies on it (HighLevel privacy policy).

The legal basis is your request, that is, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and your consent via the checkbox in the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by email or telephone.

Recipients: we store your details from the form as a contact in our customer management system with the same service as the calendar (GoHighLevel/LeadConnector, see above). If you have provided an email address, we send you a confirmation of your request there. We do not pass your request on to Bela Aqua GmbH. Only when you buy a system does Bela Aqua GmbH receive the details needed for the purchase; the legal basis is then the purchase contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Retention period: we delete requests that do not lead to an order no later than 12 months after the last contact. If an order is placed, we keep the records for as long as statutory retention periods require, for example seven years for accounting records (section 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code, BAO).

Contact by email or telephone

If you write to us or call us, we use your details only to deal with your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Emails run through the mailbox at Hostinger; the provider is Hostinger International Limited, 61 Lordou Vironos str., 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as the right to object to processing and to withdraw consent (Art. 15 to 21 and Art. 7(3) GDPR). To exercise them, write to the email address given above.

If you believe that we are not processing your data lawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde): Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, telephone +43 1 52 152-0, email dsb@dsb.gv.at, www.dsb.gv.at.
